Brief History
Kenya Union of Nutritionists and Dietitians (KUNAD) was first founded on 24th February 2016. Subsequent meetings resolved the need for registration of a union by the registrar of trade union. Due registration as a requirement by law started on 8th June 2017 and was confirmed and allowed to operate under labour relation act, section 12, on 11th January 2018.
Our Mandate
The union is formed under the Labor Relations Act to create an enabling environment for nutrition practice and to cater for welfare of all nutritionists and dietitians in the country.

To be the best in the globe in nutrition and dietetics health care provision and standardization through integral professional practice.
Our Goal
To promote the welfare of nutritionists and dietitians practising in Kenya.
